Mercy Convent is the home for the retired Sisters of Mercy in Tennessee. The Sisters have welcomed individuals and groups for prayer and reflective gatherings since 1997. This ministry continues to provide a place of welcome to all who seek God.

Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, offers a space for all seeking a deeper relationship with God, self, others, and all creation. The Spirit of Hos[itality, a Mercy Charism. pervades this place, welcoming all who come.

The retreat facility, St. Bernardine Home, and grounds span 63 acres at one of the most beautiful locations in Fremont, Ohio. Tthe Sisters officially established Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center in 1962.

Retreat and Renewal programs have been available since that time with new and innovative programs being added. Anyone who enjoys the experience of opening themselves to God in quiet through prayer and reflection will find it here in this sacred space. Our Lady of the Pines is a "Holy Ground" where women and men of all races and creeds are welcomed into an atmosphere conducive to holistic growth and integration. A team with a wealth of experience and diverse training directs the programs offered. Spiritual direction, healing massage and Reiki are three of the many opportunities provided at this retreat center that enables a guest to experience spiritual healing and renewal.
