At the Heart of Mercy: The Healing Touch
Mercy Ministries
Whereever Mercys minister, within the U.S. and beyond, we strive to be sensitive to the local culture, circumstances and needs.
Encouraging people to develop ownership and leadership of projects that meet their needs is a high priority for the Sisters of Mercy.
The ways that Sisters and Associates carry out the Mercy mission are diverse, since each situation calls for a response based on the needs of the people, the location, and the available resources.
...Assuring the Future with you!
In spite of the energetic measures to alleviate the ills of society -- poverty, sickness, ignorance...
- the poor, the sick and the ignorant abound
- the alienated, the lonely, the deserted, the physically abused abound.
Through prudent planning over the years we have invested funds to help sustain our works. However, as the needs increase and our ability to respond decreases, we must rely upon you to assist us in assuring the future of our ministries. If you share our commitment, we ask you to join us to make a difference. Your time, talent and finances are needed.
We assure you that any restricted gifts will be used for the ministry designated. If no purpose is specified, the gift will be invested and used for the ministry/progarm identified as the most crucial. Gifts may be given in various forms:
- Cash
- Trust
- Planned Gift
- Insurance Policy
- Stocks
- Other
