Meet Our Associates
BOBBI DONNELLY
Bobbie has been connected with Mercy throughout her life and became an Associate when the Sisters first invited people in 1984. She brings Mercy to her work as a licensed massage therapist and to caring for her elderly mother. Bobbie and her husband live in Memphis. Bobbie says, “Mercy Association fills a very deep need within me. My call to Mercy is a yearning for something sacred, challenging me to become so much more than I thought I could be. Mercy has opened my mind, my heart and my spirit to try to emulate our founder, Catherine McAuley. As I reflect on my covenant I signed almost twenty years ago, I pray that I continue to live it out in the service of others, especially the elderly and the sick, and to thank God for the call to Mercy that I share with so many of my sisters in brothers.”
FOREST "WOODY" BRANDT Woody is a Vietnam veteran and teacher and met Mercy through two Sisters of Mercy on his faculty at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati. Through his web site he ministers to Vietnam vets. For him, Mercy Association provides a network for sharing his mission and helping him with his spiritual journey. His wife, Kathy, is also a Mercy Associate.
